Samsung Captivate is slightly better than TCL SIGNA, getting a 57.2 score against 57.2. Although the Samsung Captivate is a lot older and just a little thicker than TCL SIGNA, it's body is still notably lighter. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Captivate has an older 2.3 version and TCL SIGNA has Android 10.
TCL SIGNA features a better performing CPU than Samsung Captivate, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with 1,5 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores. The Samsung Captivate features just a bit better screen than TCL SIGNA, although it has a lot smaller screen, a bit worse display pixels density and a lot worse 800 x 480 resolution.
The TCL SIGNA features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Captivate, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the TCL SIGNA also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. TCL SIGNA has a much better battery performance than Samsung Captivate, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
The TCL SIGNA features a better camera than Samsung Captivate, because it has a back facing camera with much more mega pixels and a much higher 1920x1080 video definition.
Although Samsung Captivate is a better device, it costs a bit more money than the TCL SIGNA, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as TCL SIGNA. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Captivate, else you can save some dollars and buy the TCL SIGNA, resigning some features and specifications.
