Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a score of 82.9, which is much better than the Galaxy A01's 71.6 global score. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's body is older, a little bit thicker and a lot heavier than Galaxy A01. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit faster processor than Galaxy A01, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a lot greater pixel density, a bit bigger display and a lot higher 1440 x 3120 resolution. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy A01, because it has a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a larger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a better storage for applications and games than Galaxy A01, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a superior battery performance than Galaxy A01, because it has a 40% larger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A01. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy A01, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
