Huawei Mate 8 has an overall score of 77.4, which is a bit better than Galaxy A01's 71.6 score. The Huawei Mate 8 is an extremely older and somewhat heavier phone than Galaxy A01, but Huawei made it just a bit thinner anyway. Huawei Mate 8 features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a quite higher screen density, a better resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a little bit bigger screen.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Galaxy A01, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal storage. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A01, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate 8 features improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. The Huawei Mate 8 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A01, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in poorly lited environments, better video frame rate and a back facing camera with a better resolution.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A01. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy A01, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
