Galaxy A40 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy A01, having a global score of 79.6 against 71.6. Although Galaxy A40 is older than the Samsung Galaxy A01, it's construction is a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner. Both of these devices have the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that.
Samsung Galaxy A40 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy A01, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a greater amount of pixels per inch of display and a little bit larger display. Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy A01, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has more internal storage capacity.
