Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 has a general score of 87.5, which is much better than the Galaxy A01's global score of 71.6. Even though the Galaxy A71 and the Galaxy A01 were only released with a couple of months difference, Galaxy A71's design is just a bit thinner but also somewhat heavier than the Galaxy A01. Both of these devices use the same Android 11 operating system, so both of them should count with identical OS features.
Galaxy A71 counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A01, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy A71 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A71 features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a larger display, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a greater pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy A71 has a very superior storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A01, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a lot larger camera sensor providing a much better image quality, a lot higher video definition, a much higher 64 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a bigger camera aperture to capture better images and videos in low light environments.
The Galaxy A71 features a superior battery performance than Galaxy A01, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy A71 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A01. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy A71, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy A01, giving up some specs and features.
