The Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is better than Galaxy A01's score of 71.6. Both devices we are comparing here have Android operating system, but the Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Galaxy A01 has Android 11 version. Although the Galaxy M40 and the Galaxy A01 were released only 7 months apart, the Galaxy M40 design is somewhat heavier but also a little thinner than the Galaxy A01.
Galaxy M40 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy A01, because it has a greater display density, a much higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit larger display. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has just a bit better performance than Galaxy A01, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
