Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is better than the Galaxy A01, getting an 80.4 score against 71.6. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition's construction is a little bit thinner than the Galaxy A01, but it's a little heavier and was released 3 years before. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy A01, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a way better display pixel density and a much higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A01, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A01, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better battery duration than Galaxy A01, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity. Galaxy Note Fan Edition captures a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A01, because although it has a less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a lot bigger aperture to take better photos in low-light situations and a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A01. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy A01, giving up a couple features and specs.
