Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is much better than the Galaxy A01's 71.6 global score. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A01 has Android 11 version, so it gives you a lot of extra features. The Galaxy Note8 is a better device than the Galaxy A01, we must highlight that it is also a notably older, just a bit thicker and noticeably heavier device.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A01, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a way better screen pixels density, a little bigger screen and a way higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
Galaxy Note8 has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A01, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note8 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A01, because although it has a lesser mega pixels back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality, a much better video quality and a much larger aperture to take better low light photos.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a little better battery performance than Galaxy A01, because it has a 10% larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy A01. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Note8, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A01, resigning some features and specs.
