Comparison review

Xperia 5 II is much better than Samsung Galaxy A01, having an 87.2 score against 71.6. Even though Xperia 5 II and Samsung Galaxy A01 were released only 9 months apart, Xperia 5 II's body is a bit thinner but just a bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy A01. Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy A01, because it has a much greater count of pixels per display inch, a much better resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a bit bigger display.

The Xperia 5 II features a superior storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1000 GB and more internal memory capacity. Xperia 5 II features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A01, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 II also has more RAM memory.

The Sony Xperia 5 II features better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The Xperia 5 II captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy A01, because although it has a back camera with lesser mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much larger diafragm aperture and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A01. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia 5 II, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A01, giving up some features and specifications.
