The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a global score of 77.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A01's general score of 71.6. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 design is just a little bit thinner than Galaxy A01, although it is incredibly heavier and was released 3 years before. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A01, because it has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a little bit greater pixels density and a little larger screen.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a little faster processor than Galaxy A01, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 takes clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A01, because although it has a camera with a worse 12 megapixels resolution, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also counts with a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photos and a much better video definition.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A01, because although it has an external memory slot that supports up to 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A01, because it has a 77% greater battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A01. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy A01, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
