Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a global score of 76.6, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A01's 71.6 general score. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has an older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A01 has Android 11 version. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a just a bit thicker and noticeably heavier phone than Samsung Galaxy A01.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A01, because it has a quite larger screen, more pixels per inch of display and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A01, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A01, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy A01, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A01, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels, a bigger aperture to capture better low light photos and videos and a way bigger sensor.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A01, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A01. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy A01, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
