Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A02s, having a 79.5 score against 74.5. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy A02s has Android 11 version, providing the user some additional features and performance tweaks. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 is older than Samsung Galaxy A02s, it's design is a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A02s, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 20 also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy A02s, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a way higher 1080 x 2244 resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a superior camera than Galaxy A02s, because although it has a lower resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a larger camera aperture for better photos in low light environments and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution. Samsung Galaxy A02s has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1 TB.
Samsung Galaxy A02s counts with improved battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 25% more battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A02s, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A02s. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A02s, resigning some features and specs.
