Comparison review
Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is much better than Galaxy A02s's 74.5 general score. Xperia 1's construction is thinner and a little bit lighter than Galaxy A02s, despite of the fact that it was released a little bit further than a year before. Sony Xperia 1 has a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A02s, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a much higher display pixels density and a way higher 1644 x 3840px resolution.
The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy A02s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 3 GB more RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy A02s, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows 512 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy A02s has a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 50 percent greater battery capacity. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A02s, because although it has a back facing camera with less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a much higher video definition and a much bigger camera aperture for better images and videos in low light environments.
Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A02s, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A02s. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy A02s, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
