Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has an overall score of 77.5, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A10's global score of 72.3. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 body is a bit thinner than the Galaxy A10, but it's much heavier and was released around 22 months before. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy A10, because it has more pixels per display inch, a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little larger screen.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit better performance than Galaxy A10, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A10, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits 384 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A10, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures and videos in poorly lited situations and a camera with less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much longer battery life than Galaxy A10, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A10. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A10, letting go some features and specifications.
