Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II is much better than Galaxy A15 5G, getting a global score of 87.2 against 77.4. The Xperia 5 II design is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than Galaxy A15 5G, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. The Galaxy A15 5G counts with a bit better display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a just a little less pixels per screen inch and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a quite larger screen.
Xperia 5 II's memory capacity for applications and games is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A15 5G's one, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. The Xperia 5 II has a much better performing processor than Galaxy A15 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia 5 II captures slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, because although it has a back facing camera with way less mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video quality and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and video.
Galaxy A15 5G counts with longer battery duration than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 25% bigger battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A15 5G, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A15 5G. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy A15 5G, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
