Huawei Mate 20 has a score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G's general score of 76.2. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has Android 14, counting with some nice extra features. The Huawei Mate 20 body is just a little bit lighter but a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy A16 5G, because although it has a bit worse display density, a bit worse 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little more brightness. Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has a much better memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a much powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Huawei Mate 20 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy A16 5G, although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, they both have the same aperture.
The Galaxy A16 5G counts with longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 25 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A16 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A16 5G. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy A16 5G, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
