The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G's 76.2 score. These phones have Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has Android 14, so it provides you a couple nice extra features. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro construction is lighter and a little thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy A16 5G, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a higher display pixel density. The Galaxy A16 5G counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy A16 5G also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1000 GB.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much powerful processing unit than Galaxy A16 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy A16 5G features better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, although it has a camera in the back with a much worse resolution and a tinier camera aperture.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A16 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A16 5G. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy A16 5G, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
