The Huawei Nova 9 has an overall score of 81, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G's 76.2 global score. Huawei Nova 9 is a lighter phone than the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, but they have the same thickness. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Huawei Nova 9 has an older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has Android 14.

Galaxy A16 5G has a slightly better looking display than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a bit inferior pixels quantity per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Galaxy A16 5G also counts with a little bigger screen.
Huawei Nova 9 takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy A16 5G, although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing pictures in poorly lited situations, they both have a same resolution back camera. The Galaxy A16 5G counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A16 5G also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1000 GB.
The Galaxy A16 5G counts with greater battery lifetime than Huawei Nova 9, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery capacity.
