Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Galaxy A16 5G has a newer 14 version while Moto G8 has Android 10 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy A16 5G design is somewhat thinner but a little bit heavier than the Moto G8.
The Galaxy A16 5G features a sharper display than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a better display pixel density, a much better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little bit bigger display. Moto G8 has a way better performance than Galaxy A16 5G. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy A16 5G counts with a very superior storage to install games and applications than Moto G8, because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal memory.
Galaxy A16 5G counts with longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a 25 percent greater battery size. The Motorola Moto G8 has a bit better camera than Galaxy A16 5G, because although it has a camera with way less MP, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is also cheap compared to the other phone.
