Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A16 5G's overall score of 76.2. The Xperia 1 is a a little thicker but somewhat lighter phone than Galaxy A16 5G. Xperia 1 features a much more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A16 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Xperia 1 counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, because although it has much worse brightness and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and way more pixels per screen inch. The Sony Xperia 1 features a slightly better camera than Galaxy A16 5G, because although it has a back camera with much less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture.
The Galaxy A16 5G features a little bit better memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy A16 5G also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy A16 5G, letting go a couple specifications.
