Comparison review

LG G5 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A20, getting a global score of 76.1 against 74.7. Despite of the fact that LG G5 is noticeably older than Samsung Galaxy A20, it's design is just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G5 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy A20 has Android 11, giving you a couple additional features.

LG G5 features a lot better screen than Galaxy A20, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. LG G5 features a much better storage for applications and games than Galaxy A20, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The LG G5 counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy A20, because although it has 4 lesser CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with more RAM memory. LG G5 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A20, because it has a larger aperture to capture better photography and video in low light environments, a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a back camera with a better 16 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.

Galaxy A20 has a way better battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 43% bigger battery size.

Although LG G5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A20. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy A20, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
