Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is better than the Galaxy A20's 74.7 global score. The Galaxy Note8 is an older, a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier device than the Galaxy A20. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A20 has Android 11 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.

Galaxy Note8 features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note8 features a way better looking display than Galaxy A20, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher screen pixels density and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960.

The Galaxy Note8 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has a camera with less mega-pixels, it also counts with a lot higher video quality, a larger camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality and a bigger aperture for better images and video in low-light environments.

The Galaxy Note8 has slightly more memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy A20 counts with greater battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A20. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A20, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
