The Samsung Galaxy S5 is slightly better than the Galaxy A20, getting a score of 80.8 against 74.7. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S5 is a lot older and just a little bit thicker than Galaxy A20, it's body is still lighter. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S5 has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy A20 has Android 11 version.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has less processing cores (but faster), and they both have the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a graphics processor. Galaxy S5 features a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way higher pixels amount per display inch.
Samsung Galaxy A20 features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S5, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A20 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB. Galaxy S5 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a larger camera sensor, a lot better 3840x2160 video definition and a back facing camera with more mega-pixels.
Samsung Galaxy A20 features a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 43% more battery size.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A20. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy S5, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy A20, resigning a couple specifications.
