Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A20, having a global score of 77.6 against 74.7. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Z5 has 5.1 version and Galaxy A20 has Android 11 version. The Xperia Z5 construction is just a bit lighter and just a little thinner than the Galaxy A20, even though it was released 4 years before.

Xperia Z5 features an incredibly better display than Galaxy A20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater amount of pixels per inch in the display and a better 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy A20 has a bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A20 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy A20, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy A20 has a much better battery lifetime than Xperia Z5, because it has a 38% larger battery size. The Xperia Z5 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A20, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photos, a way larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality and a much higher resolution camera.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A20. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Xperia Z5, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A20, letting go a couple features and specifications.
