The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a bit better than the Galaxy A20, having a global score of 77.7 against 74.7. Both devices in our current comparison have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy A20 has Android 11 version, providing the user some nice extra features and increased performance. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's body weights the same than Galaxy A20, but it is just a little thinner.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A20, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a higher amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a sharper screen than Galaxy A20, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per display inch and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite captures clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy A20, because although it has a worse 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also counts with a much higher (4K) video quality and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features just a bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A20, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy A20 has greater battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 19 percent larger battery capacity.
