Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a general score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A20's 74.7 global score. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro body is newer, but somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than Galaxy A20. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the previous 10 version while Galaxy A20 has Android 11.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a more vivid display than Galaxy A20, because it has a better display pixels density, a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit larger screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy A20, and although they both have a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has 32 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A20, because it has a 26 percent bigger battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy A20, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a much bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality pictures, a back camera with much more MP and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy A20. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A20, giving up a couple features and specifications.
