Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A20, getting a global score of 79 against 74.7. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S design is newer than the Samsung Galaxy A20's, but it is heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 operating system. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a greater amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A20, because it has a little bit larger screen, a better amount of pixels per display inch and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a way better camera than Galaxy A20, because it has a much bigger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality pictures and videos, a bigger camera aperture, a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot more MP back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a better storage for games and applications than Galaxy A20, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with greater battery life than Galaxy A20, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A20. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A20, giving up a couple specifications.
