Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is better than Galaxy A20e's score of 74.2. These phones have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect. Despite being the best device in this review, the Galaxy Note8 is an older, incredibly heavier and just a little bit thicker device than Galaxy A20e.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A20e, because it has a bit larger display, a lot better display pixel density and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A20e, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has 3 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy A20e, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal memory.
