Galaxy M30 has a general score of 82.4, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A20s's 77 global score. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M30 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A20s has Android 11 version. Even though the Galaxy M30 and Samsung Galaxy A20s were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy M30 design is a bit thicker but just a little lighter than Samsung Galaxy A20s.
Galaxy M30 counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy A20s, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy M30 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Galaxy M30 counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy A20s, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.

Galaxy M30 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A20s, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video definition, the Galaxy M30 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
