Comparison review
The Xperia XA2 Plus is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A20s, getting a overall score of 78.6 against 77. Despite being the best device in this review, Xperia XA2 Plus is an older, somewhat heavier and thicker device than Samsung Galaxy A20s. These phones come with Android OS, but the Xperia XA2 Plus has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy A20s has Android 11 version, so it counts with some extra features and enhanced performance.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A20s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Xperia XA2 Plus features a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A20s, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher screen density and a lot higher 1080 x 2160px resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A20s features a bit more storage to store more games and applications than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A20s also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A20s counts with just a little better battery performance than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3580mAh.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy A20s, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and video in low light situations, it also counts with a camera with a much higher 23 megapixels resolution, a much bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
