Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A21, getting a general score of 82.9 against 76.1. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a has a newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy A21 has Android 10 version, so it offers a lot of extra features and optimized performance. Google Pixel 4a's design has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy A21, but it's noticeably lighter.
The Google Pixel 4a and Samsung Galaxy A21 have quite similar CPUs, and although the Google Pixel 4a has 3 GB more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Google Pixel 4a has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a way greater pixels quantity per inch in the display.
The Google Pixel 4a features a slightly bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy A21, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy A21 has greater battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 27% larger battery size.
The Google Pixel 4a counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy A21, because although it has a camera in the back with a lot lower resolution, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a larger camera aperture to capture better images in low-light environments.
Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A21, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A21. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Galaxy A21, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
