Huawei Mate 20 is a bit better than the Galaxy A21, having a overall score of 79.5 against 76.1. Huawei Mate 20 is an older and just a little bit thicker phone than the Galaxy A21, but Huawei managed to make it just a bit lighter anyway. Both phones in this comparison have Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A21 has Android 10, giving some extra features.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a same size screen, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a much higher 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution and a higher pixels quantity per inch in the screen. The Huawei Mate 20 features just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A21, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 20 also has more RAM. The Galaxy A21 and the Huawei Mate 20 both count with incredibly similar batteries. Huawei Mate 20 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has a back facing camera with a lot worse 12 mega pixels resolution, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lot larger sensor.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A21, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy A21. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A21, letting go some specifications.
