Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 is a bit better than Galaxy A21, getting a 77.6 score against 76.1. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z5 has the older 5.1 version and Galaxy A21 has Android 10. Xperia Z5's body is just a little thinner and extremely lighter than Galaxy A21, even though it was released many years before.
Xperia Z5 counts with an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a much better pixel quantity per inch in the display and a higher 1920 x 1080 resolution. The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy A21, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has an extra graphics co-processor.
The Xperia Z5 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Xperia Z5 also has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a lot better resolution back-facing camera and a lot bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality. The Samsung Galaxy A21 has a quite bigger storage to install applications and games than Xperia Z5, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A21 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A21 features a very superior battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A21, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A21. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A21, giving up a couple features and specs.
