Xiaomi Mi 9 has an overall score of 83.2, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A21's 76.1 score. The Xiaomi Mi 9 construction is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy A21, although it was released around 16 months before. The Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a better screen density.
Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A21, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9 shoots greater pictures and videos than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a much better (4K) video resolution, a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a much larger back camera sensor which offers a lot higher image and video quality.
Xiaomi Mi 9 features just a bit bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A21, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy A21 features superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
