The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has an overall score of 78.6, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A22's score of 76.1. Despite being the best device in this review, it must be noted that it's also a notably older, just a little bit heavier and thicker device. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy A22 has Android 12, so it offers some nice extra features and performance optimizations.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a better display than Galaxy A22, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 and more pixels per inch in the screen. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A22, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xperia XA2 Plus takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy A22, because although it has a smaller aperture and a way less megapixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution. The Galaxy A22 counts with more memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy A22 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A22.
