Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A22, having a 79 score against 76.1. The Xperia XZ2 Compact is a incredibly older and way thicker cellphone than Samsung Galaxy A22, but Sony managed to make it just a little bit lighter anyway. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia XZ2 Compact has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy A22 has Android 12 version.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy A22. Both have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a much better display than Galaxy A22, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixel count per screen inch and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels.
Galaxy A22 features a greater storage for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A22 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1 TB. Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A22, because although it has a way lower resolution back-facing camera and a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low-light photos and video, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy A22.
