The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a little bit better than the Galaxy A22, with a general score of 76.6 against 76.1. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has the older 10 version while Galaxy A22 has Android 12. Although it's the best device in this comparison review, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is an older, just a little heavier and just a bit thicker device than the Galaxy A22.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a bit better looking display than Galaxy A22, because it has a bit larger display, a greater screen pixel density and a way higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a processing unit that is very similar to Samsung Galaxy A22's processing unit, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy A22. Both have a 48 MP resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and a F1.8 camera aperture. Samsung Galaxy A22 has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A22 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1 TB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a superior battery life than Galaxy A22.
