The Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than Galaxy A23 5G, getting a score of 78.1 against 71.9. The Galaxy XCover 5 is an older and just a bit thicker phone than the Galaxy A23 5G, but Samsung made it lighter anyway. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy XCover 5 has the older 11 version and Galaxy A23 5G has Android 12.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a much faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A23 5G. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a screen that's just as good as the Galaxy A23 5G one, although the Galaxy XCover 5 has a little bit smaller display, a way worse 720 x 1480 resolution and a bit less pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy XCover 5 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A23 5G, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy XCover 5's camera is very similar to the Galaxy A23 5G one, and although the Galaxy XCover 5 has a way less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, they both have the same diafragm aperture.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
