The Galaxy A25 5G has a general score of 79.9, which is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40's score of 77.2. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A25 5G has 14 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, so it provides you some extra features and improved performance. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, Galaxy A25 5G's body is just a little thicker and heavier than Motorola Edge 40.

Motorola Edge 40 features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a quite more brightness and a bit higher pixel density. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Galaxy A25 5G features a much bigger storage for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A25 5G also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Galaxy A25 5G has a bit superior battery duration than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.

Motorola Edge 40 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A25 5G, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same video quality and a 50 mega pixels camera, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much larger camera aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited environments and a way bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
