Comparison review

Xperia 1 III is much better than the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, having a 93.3 score against 79.9. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has an older 11 version while Samsung Galaxy A25 5G has Android 14 version. The Xperia 1 III design is a little thinner and a little bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.

Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy A25 5G, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a much greater display density. The Xperia 1 III counts with a much faster processing unit than Galaxy A25 5G, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 6 GB more RAM.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photography, a way tinier camera sensor providing a way worse image quality and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G also counts with a much more mega-pixels back camera.

The Xperia 1 III counts with much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB, the Xperia 1 III also has 256 GB internal memory. Galaxy A25 5G features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1 III, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 4500mAh.
