The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A25, getting an 81.4 score against 74.3. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A25 has Android 14 version, so it gives a couple additional features and performance enhancements. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a thinner and a lot lighter phone than Samsung Galaxy A25.
The Galaxy A25 counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a quite worse screen density, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Galaxy A25 also counts with a bit larger screen and way more brightness. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with a much better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A25. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM.
The Galaxy A25 features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A25 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1 TB. Galaxy A25 counts with a really longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3070mAh.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a much better camera than Galaxy A25, although it has a back facing camera with a worse 48 megapixels resolution, they both have the same aperture.
