Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A30 is slightly better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), having a global score of 79.6 against 77.4. Samsung Galaxy A30 is a a little bit lighter and just a little thinner phone than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), even though both were released with only a couple of months difference. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A30, although it has a just a bit lower pixel count per display inch, a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a bit smaller display.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A30, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a little bit better performance than Galaxy A30, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) also has more RAM.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting photos or videos in low light environments, a smaller back camera sensor shooting worse quality pictures and a back camera with a way lower 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A30, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
