Huawei Mate 30 5G has a general score of 87.4, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A30's 79.6 overall score. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Huawei Mate 30 5G body is somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy A30. Huawei Mate 30 5G has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A30, because although it has a just a little lower display pixels density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Huawei Mate 30 5G also counts with a little bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy A30 has more storage to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 30 5G, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB. Huawei Mate 30 5G counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 30 5G also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate 30 5G captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and video, it also counts with a much better (4K) video quality, a much more mega pixels camera in the back and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor.
The Huawei Mate 30 5G counts with just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A30, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
