The Galaxy A30 has an overall score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's overall score of 78.7. The Galaxy A30 design has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but it's just a little lighter. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy A30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A30, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels quantity in each inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Samsung Galaxy A30 has a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro captures just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors, a back camera with way less mega-pixels resolution and a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photography, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
