Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A40 is slightly better than Galaxy A30, having a score of 79.6 against 79.6. Although Samsung Galaxy A40 and the Galaxy A30 were released only 1 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy A40 body is somewhat lighter but also a little thicker than the Galaxy A30. Samsung Galaxy A40 has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy A30, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Galaxy A40's processor is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy A30 one, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a camera that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy A30's camera, they have the same aperture, a camera with a 16 MP, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a 0.36 inches back camera sensor.
The Galaxy A40 features as much memory to install applications and games as Galaxy A30, they have the same 64 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A30 counts with better battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
