The Xperia 1 II is much better than the Galaxy A30, getting a global score of 91 against 79.6. The Xperia 1 II is a newer phone than the Galaxy A30, but it is a little thicker and just a bit heavier. The Xperia 1 II counts with a much better display than Galaxy A30, because it has a lot greater pixels density, a bit larger screen and a much better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution.
The Sony Xperia 1 II features a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A30, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. The Xperia 1 II features a bit better processor than Galaxy A30, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 1 II also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Xperia 1 II's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery performance in Samsung Galaxy A30. The Sony Xperia 1 II has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a way worse 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Sony Xperia 1 II also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a lot higher 3840x2160 video definition.
