Galaxy A30 has an overall score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi 12's 78.8 general score. Despite of the fact that Galaxy A30 is way older than the Xiaomi 12, it's construction is a little thinner and a bit lighter. The Galaxy A30 features a much more powerful processor than Xiaomi 12, although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xiaomi 12 counts with a better screen than Galaxy A30, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better pixels amount per display inch and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A30 counts with a bigger storage for applications and games than Xiaomi 12, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi 12 has a bit better battery life than Galaxy A30, because it has a 13% bigger battery size. The Xiaomi 12 has a lot better camera than Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light images and videos, it also counts with a lot better 50 MP resolution back-facing camera, a lot better video resolution and a much bigger sensor shooting lot better quality photographs and videos.
