Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is slightly better than the Galaxy A30, getting an 81.1 score against 79.6. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's body is newer, but somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier than Galaxy A30. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A30, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a display that is very similar to Galaxy A30's display, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a little bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and Samsung Galaxy A30 count with similar storage for apps and games, they have the same 64 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures a lot better photos and videos than Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking images or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality, a much more megapixels back camera and a way larger sensor shooting way better quality photos and videos.
