Samsung Galaxy A30 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, with a 79.6 score against 79. Samsung Galaxy A30's construction is thinner and extremely lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, even though it was released only 13 months before. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A30. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a screen that's very similar to the Galaxy A30 one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a little worse pixels amount in each inch of screen, it also counts with a quite bigger display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy A30, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting photos and videos in low light environments, it also counts with a camera with lot more megapixels, a much bigger sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's memory for apps and games is very similar to Galaxy A30's one, they have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB and equal internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A30, because it has a 26 percent larger battery size.
