The Samsung Galaxy A30s is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a, getting a overall score of 79.8 against 78.8. Both phones in this review include the same Android 11 OS. Samsung Galaxy A30s's design is heavier but a little thinner than Google Pixel 3a, and both were released only 5 months apart. The Google Pixel 3a has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A30s. Both have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Google Pixel 3a counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy A30s, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 1080 x 2220 resolution and a much higher pixel quantity per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy A30s has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A30s has longer battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. The Google Pixel 3a captures a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A30s, because although it has a back facing camera with a much worse resolution and a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking images or videos in low-light environments, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution.
